    SWAGGGGGG!!!
ok workshops, I’d like to see some more colour theory, advanced workshops and classes. something more geared toward more realistic colouring, with awesome use of colour in lighting and shading.
something about how colours are going to react, how to choose colours etc. something more realistic and advanced. always more advanced. Hungry Marker Guru always wants more!

Side note, you guys should go to Calgary expo, or one of the Vancouver conventions someday, so I can actually stand at your booth and make faces and cry from the wanting right in front of you :)

I would love to see a panel that goes into detail about the use of copics mixed with different kinds of media materials, like paper/ink varieties and the airbrush.

As for a workshop, I would like to see one on mixing copic inks to make a new marker color. You could probably introduce copic care and maintenance at the same time. :)

Rendering techniques from pros. Paper and other media would be great as a previous commenter suggested.

I would loooove to see a panel about different Copic techniques. When I color I always wonder how I could color or design a certain area in my artwork!

    Good example:

At Comic Con this year I purchased Adam Hughes’ DVD (cover artist for DC comics; uses Warm and Cool Copics on his works.) In part of the DVD he colors the mermaid he drew and he shares how he uses the Colorless Blender to design the scales.

I’d love to see more techniques that other artists and myself could utilize in our works! Because using a CB for scales? Would have never thought of doing that.

I’d like to see more of what you’ve already been doing–showcasing the artists that use Copics and tutorials on how to get the techniques done.

    Thanks for running this contest.

Are any Copic promo/tutorial DVDs included? Maybe as consolation prizes for all entrants?

I would love to see more advanced workshops and color theory, as well as a session on realistic coloring and working with different techniques. Having Copics of my own, I often wonder if I can improve on the skills I have and try new styles with them! Thanks!

  • Joseph

I would love it if copic could do demos on how to create custom colors and some recommendations.

    *coloring metallic surfaces

*fixing small errors on colored works…
    *masking techniques for non-airbrush applications
