Events & Education
Copic is a part of numerous events every year, and we want you to know about them!
Under Copic Staffed Events, you will find events where an officially trained and recognized employee of Copic will be available to answer specific product questions and demonstrate numerous techniques at your request. Anything from how to refill your marker to how to place shadows for an image.
Under Community Events, you will see the many locally organized events and fundraisers to which we donate prizes, loan markers for attendees to experiment with, or sponsor in some other way. At these events, you are likely to get your hands on Copic products, but we can’t guarantee there will be someone there who can answer all of your product questions.

Copic Staffed Events
January
28 - Feb 1: Copic will be at the Craft & Hobby Association winter conference and trade show in booth #2390.
February
11: Marianne Walker, our product specialist, will be demonstrating Copic marker illustration from 2-4pm downstairs at the University of Oregon Duck Store in Eugene, OR.
15: Ringling College of Art & Design will be hosting Copic instructors in classes throughout the day.
16: Debbie Olson will be giving a demonstration at Plaza Artists Materials in Richmond, VA.
16: From 12-2pm, Colleen Schaan will be giving a demonstration at Central Art Supply in St. Petersburg, FL.
17: Colleen Schaan will be demonstrating at AOE supply in Tampa, FL from 9:45-11:45am.
18: Jackson Root will be demonstrating at the 6th annual Paint Out in Riverside, CA.
March
12: Copic will be giving a marker illustration demo for customers at Art Tech Supplies in Greensburg, PA
16-18: Copic will have a booth at WonderCon at the Anaheim Convention Center, Hall D.
17: Ken O’Connell will be demonstrating Travel Sketch Journaling from 2-4pm downstairs at the University of Oregon Duck Store in Eugene, OR.
April
6-8: Copic will be at Sakura Con, held in the Washington State Convention Center.
10-13: Colleen Schaan & Marianne Walker, will be visiting art classes at Savannah College of Art and Design.

- Sketch and Copic Original markers will be available for use at Society of Illustrators’ Sketch Night, every Tuesday & Thursday in NYC
January 2012
7: FACE2FACE artist alley event in New York City. Where artists, students & fans can meet FACE2FACE. Copic prizes and demo markers will be on hand.
27-29: Pick up sample product at the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators International Conference in New York City.
29-30: Live from CHA Live streaming and chat from Winter CHA. Copic prizes!
February
4: Crop Out Diabetes – An all day scrapbooking event held in Menasha, Wisconsin as well as Old Hickory, Tennessee. Copic prizes!
4: Parent Club Crop in Fairview Heights, IL. Email racegoddss@aol.com for details. Copic prizes and demo markers.
22: Dare2Draw at The Museum of Comic Book Art (MoCCA) in New York, NY, 6-9:30pm. Copic prizes!

2-4: 5th Annual Go All Night Fundraiser Event – A scrapbooking fundraiser held in High Level, Alberta, Canada. Copic prizes!
2-4: Patriot Puppy Scrapbook Retreat – An event raising money for Patriot Service Dogs, a non-profit organization that places service dogs with veterans in need. Orange Park, FL. Copic prizes!
